Each piece of work will be evaluated by a Youth Panel of 7 members. Each submission will be given a score out of 100 according to the following criteria:

  • Relevance to the project’s theme (max. 30 points). The submissions will be, therefore, centered around:

The celebration of the sailing of the Mayflower as a symbol of migrants integration

  • Relevance to the category of submission (max. 25 points)

These two criteria – amounting to a maximum of 50 points – will be common to all the four categories. The remaining 50 points will be attributed according to different criteria depending on the category

Visual Arts

Painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, design, crafts etc.

  • Design (max. 15 points)
  • Vitality/captivation and interpretation – triggering emotions and reactions into the audience – (max. 35 points): (max. 15 points)
    • Originality (max. 15 points)
    • Effectiveness in communicating the message (max. 20)

Music, poetry, singing, dancing and theatre.

Following these criteria 1 winner and 1 runner up will be selected for each category

Other than prizes, your participation will be recoginzed through a Youth Pass by the European Solidarity Corps
